Do I need a driving license?
Yes, to drive a snowmobile you need a valid car driving license.
What’s included in the tour price?
The price includes warm clothing, helmet, snowmobile, fuel, guiding, a hot drink during the tour, lunch, reindeer feeding, and transfer from your accommodation and back. Everything is included for a complete and comfortable experience.
Can two people ride one snowmobile?
Yes, most tours are twin-rider. You can switch drivers midway if both have valid licenses.
Is the tour suitable for beginners?
Absolutely. We start with a safety briefing, basic controls, and a short practice before heading to the trail.
What should I wear?
Wear warm base layers, and avoid cotton. We provide the outer thermal suit,wool socks, boots, and gloves.
What’s the age limit for passengers?
Children can ride as passengers on the snowmobile with a minimum height of 120 cm. For the youngest ones, we provide a sleigh attached to the guide’s snowmobile — the child rides there with an adult.

How do I book and pay?
Choose your date and time on the calendar, add extras, and pay securely online. You’ll receive instant confirmation by email.
What happens in bad weather?
Tours operate in light snow and normal winter conditions. However, if the temperature drops below –25 °C, the tour may be postponed or cancelled for safety reasons. In that case, we offer to reschedule your tour or provide a refund according to our policy.
Can I cancel or change my booking?
Free changes up to 48 hours before the tour. Cancellations follow our refund policy shown at checkout.
Do you provide pickup from the hotel or accommodation?
- Yes, pickup is available within Ivalo (from any accommodation in the village). For Saariselkä, pickup is available for an extra fee — please contact us in advance for details.
How long is the tour and how far do we ride?
The standard safari lasts about 3.5 hours and covers approximately 30 kilometers, depending on weather conditions and the group’s pace.
Is insurance included?
Third-party liability insurance is included. A self-risk (deductible) may apply in case of damage; details are provided before the start.
